FAQ

Maswali? Majibu.

The things everyone asks before moving day, answered the way we'd want them answered.

How far in advance should I book?

Within Dar: 3–4 days is comfortable, and same-day is often possible midweek. Month-end weekends sell out first, those are worth booking two weeks ahead. Upcountry moves: one week, so we can slot you into a scheduled long-haul run.

Is the price really fixed? What about stairs and traffic?

Really fixed. We ask about floors and lift access during booking, then the number is locked. Rain, stairs, traffic jams on Morogoro Road, all our problem. The only thing that changes a price is if the volume turns out wildly different from what was described, and we'll flag that before touching a single box.

Are my things insured?

Yes, every move carries goods-in-transit insurance as standard, included in the price. High-value items (art, instruments, electronics over TZS 5M) can be declared for additional cover at booking.

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?

If you take our packing service, all materials are included and we take the empties away afterwards. Packing yourself? We deliver cartons, tape and bubble wrap at cost, two days before your move.

Can you move a piano / safe / aquarium / gym rack?

Yes, yes, yes (fish travel separately in aerated containers), and yes. Specialty items get their own crew and rigging gear. Tell us at booking so the right equipment is on the truck.

What happens if something breaks?

You photograph it, we log it on the spot, and the claim is settled within 14 days, repair, replace or reimburse. In 2025 our damage rate was 0.4% of items moved, and we intend to make that number embarrassing to mention.

Do you move upcountry? How does it work?

Every region. Your goods travel in a sealed truck (never mixed with strangers' cargo unless you choose the shared-load saver option), with guarded overnight stops. You get the driver's number and WhatsApp updates at every major stop.

Can you store my things between houses?

Yes, clean, dry, guarded units at our Sinza yard from TZS 90,000/month. The truck goes straight from your old place to storage and back out again when your new keys are ready.

Every question here gets answered by someone who carried a sofa this week, not a call-centre script. Call or WhatsApp and describe your move, we'll tell you honestly what it needs.
